Enrollment in ABA Therapy
What is ABA Therapy?
ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis, which is the practice of applying the psychological principles of learning theory in a systematic way to modify behavior. It is used most extensively in special education and the treatment of Autism and other developmental delays.
ABA Therapy has 3 main components: reduction of problem behaviors, skill acquisition, and teaching caregivers to implement these strategies to promote the generalization and maintenance of replacement skills.
Teaching replacement skills is done systematically through discrete instruction and naturalistic teaching strategies.
Why Choose Us?
At Elite ABA Therapy, we are passionate about what we do and strive to provide quality services by ensuring our staff are highly trained and motivated. We focus on proactive teaching strategies as opposed to being reactive only when problem behaviors occur. Our program focuses heavily on functional communication training, which is the foundation of daily living. We offer flexible scheduling hours and locations. If we're needed at grandma's house on certain days or times, we'll be there! We also focus heavily on incorporating caregivers into our sessions to promote carryover when we're not there. The goal of therapy is to be intensive and short term, and to promote our client's independence and social integration.
